I've been attending a number of groups where using intuition is the basis of our reason to be together.
What I've been experiencing is people comparing themselves to other's intuitive styles. It sucks because:
- No two people have exactly the same style of receiving intuitive insights
- People compare themselves to others' styles and can easily judge themselves as being "less than" or "not doing it right."
Many of these people are relatively new to owning their intuitive styles. The consistent message:
Knowing your style, the specifics of it, is where you power is. You know what to trust intuitively when you honor how these insights come to you.
And new styles can develop over time with trust.
The bottom line is starting where you are and trusting your own style.
Comparing yourself to other people's styles sucks. It just sucks!
All is does is make you feel bad about yourself, diminish your already existing gifts and maybe even keep you from trusting your intuition the way it is.
What if you choose to trust your style right now? Practice it. Notice it. Honor it. Embrace it. Appreciate it. You can always expand. Start where you are now. Fall in love with your intuitive style(s).
Your gifts are YOUR gifts.
Love,
Pamelah
